Although Portieux is highly renowned for producing colored, opaline and milk glass in several colors (especially blue), clear glass candlesticks in this pattern are quite scarce. Excellent condition. Clean & shiny. No cracks, chips or signs of wear (even on bottom). The top of one is very slightly tilted – probably a defect in manufacturing (see last group of photos). This has never bothered me in the 40+ years I’ve owned them. They’ve been proudly displayed on my dining room table, where I’ve admired and loved their unusual pattern. Height about 8”.
