Clear background sticker sheets have 13 colored stickers each, on a clear overlay. These are original sticker sheets from the 1985 Exposition, not reprints, reissues, or copies made at a later date. **These are the last one that I have, so get them while you can. After these, there are no more. Expo '85, officially called The International Exposition, Tsukuba, Japan, 1985 (Kokusai Kagaku Gijutsu Hakurankai, "The International Science Technology Exposition"), was a world's fair held in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan (Tsukuba Science City, a planned city focused on technology north of Tokyo) between Sunday, March 17 and Monday, September 16, 1985. The theme of the fair was "Dwellings and Surroundings - Science and Technology for Man at Home" . The official mascot of Expo '85 was Cosmo Hoshimaru. Maki Takagaki, a junior high school student designed the mascot which was chosen as part of a nationwide competition by school children. Each Clear Sticker sheet is approx. 4-3/4" high x 2-7/8" wide and comes in it's original backing. Sticker sheets have only light signs of handling on edges and corners. Stickers have not been removed nor will be. NOTE: Sticker Sheets are being sold as a collectible and as such, there is No Guarantee is made that the stickers will peel off in their entirety, nor that they will stick / mount to to any surface if removed.
