Description: Set of 2 Henn Workshops blue spongeware pottery Irish coffee or hot cocoa pedestal mugs. These mugs were only sold for a limited amount of time, so are fairly rare. This pair is stamped with 2 different pottery marks - the Workshops of Gerald Henn and BTC - Bell-Terr China USA. Workshops temporarily used the BTC factory to make their pottery after their other pottery source/manufacturer suffered a devastating fire. These mugs are in new condition and were never used. There are no cracks, chips or crazing and there are no bubbles in the glaze. The mugs stand 6" high, are 3" in diameter and hold 6 ounces (up to 8 ounces if filled to the top). These would make great Christmas gifts with their unique design and country flair.
