LAKE MURRAY was found in Oklahoma in 1933. The main mass sits on public display in Oklahoma's Lake Murray state park. A 600 kilo iron core covered in four to six inches of iron oxide shale (like in this ebay lot) was found. Meteorite is classified as an Iron IIAB. Lake Murray fell to between 90 and 110 million years ago making it the oldest known meteorite on the earth that still survives.Buyer gets the two grams of Iron Shale shown in the photo. It wont exactly be the prettiest meteorite in your collection but certainly a must have. And you wont find a lower price on this rare meteorite.
