Description: 2 Gallons of pre baked rotten logs from various hardwood trees. Fine grade! Fine grade is anything small enough to pass through the 1/2 inch mesh on our drying rack. Perfect for Isopods, Millipedes, terrariums, frog tanks, reptile enclosures, etc. We pre bake this substrate to ensure no hitch hikers. Previously we only offered this in quart size bags, we are happy to now offer it in larger quantities :) The source - A beautiful hardwood forest free of pest asides etc. I had harvest this myself, from there it goes onto the drying rack where most the hitch hikers jump ship as it dries. Then we bake it for at least half an hour at 300 degrees. We use our own products! We often use this as substrate for our isopods.
