Description: Two computer punch cards from the 1960s-1970s. One un-punched, other punched. These have the M.I.T. logo "mens et manus," Latin for "mind and hands" depicting a scholar with a book and a craftsman at the anvil. The cards say "Information Processing Center" which, in the day, referred to Building 39 where you could manually and laboriously punch your cards and then hand in your card deck to the dispatcher. I will ship these USPS with tracking number provided. I realize the shipping charge seems outrageous for such a light-weight item but that's the going rate to get a tracking number for eBay items of this type. I will package these in a box rather than a plain envelope which might get folded, spindled, or mutilated :) Thank you for looking. .
