Description: (2) Antique French K&G Luneville Plates, Flow Blue, 1890's, Excellent Condition. These two plates were made by the French company K&G (Keller & Guerin) of Luneville, France. Each one is 10" in diameter and is beautifully done in Flow Blue with a gold rim. The gold rims are in good condition with very few light spots. The backs are stamped with the K&G logo and include hanging holes and wire. The first plate features a shepherd minding his flock against a distant cityscape. Its very dreamy as the flow blue medium imparts this on the viewer. The second plate features a sailboat under full sail on what looks to be a lazy day against a lightly cloudy sky. Both plates are very relaxing to gaze upon and would be a welcome addition to a collector or for anyone that appreciates this form of art.
