Here are a few things to look for : Susan B Anthony Dollars 1979 -1999 1979 - Far Date and Wide Rim Near Date -Near dates are rare1980-1981 were key dates with low mintage numbers compared to 1979 Presidential Dollars 2007-2016 By 2011 the mintage numbers of these coins were drastically cut and any found after 2011 were not intended for circulation.There are also error coins that lack the edge lettering. Sacagawea Dollars 2000-PresentThese coins had the same design with a soaring eagle on the back from 2000-2008. Any after 2001 are fairly rare and were not intended for circulation. There are also error coins that are missing the edge lettering.In 2009 the reserve of Sacagaweas began to have a native American theme and the design started changing every year.
