1st printing Killing Time by Caleb Carr! Excellent Copy!! The Alienist Author!!

Description: Here is a beautiful copy of Killing Time by Caleb Carr author of the outstanding historical detective novel The Alienist. Caleb Carr is another of a growing list of young artists we’ve lost way too soon as he has passed away in 2024 from cancer. What the world of letters was cheated of not to mention his family and friends. This copy of Killing Time A Novel Of The Future is a first edition first printing as shown on the copyright page published by Random House in 2000. This copy is in like new condition. The binding is square, tight, and the text is immaculate throughout. The black boards are spotless as is the black cloth spine. The lime green gilt lettering on the spine is bright and beautiful as shown. Both spine ends have some “rounding” also as shown in the photos provided and all four corners of this copy are in excellent condition. There are four light stains to the upper page block but minimal indeed. In photo seven you will see that the first two blank pages have separated but are still firmly attached to the binding. A cosmetic only issue. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap as the posted images depict. This jacket has little to no wear whatsoever and this beautiful copy will make a wonderful addition to any collection or library.
