Description: Here is a wonderful copy of Home by Marilynne Robinson. Robinson’s first published novel Housekeeping is considered a modern day classic and her writing seems to gain more and more recognition with each published work. This copy is a first edition first printing as shown on the copyright page published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 2008. There is only one issue with this copy’s jacket. Otherwise this copy would be in excellent condition. The binding is square, tight, and the text is immaculate throughout. The brown cloth boards are spotless as is the spine. The gold gilt lettering is near pristine in condition. The bottom spine end has light “rounding” but the top is fine. All four corners of this copy are beautiful. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap also as shown. The one issue with this jacket is that a previous owner has removed a retailer’s price sticker that resulted in the scraping at the spine and rear panel.
