Published by Beverly Tucker, Senate Press in Washington, 1854. This is Vol 1 only, but I believe Vol 2 is just maps. Binding is hold sound overall, but opens easily in a few places with occasional exposed mesh. The biggest flaw is pictured in the last photo. Pages are generally unmarked, with the exception of previous owner's names and date written on first blank page, and pencil writing on title page. Otherwise, just occasional age toning and foxing spots. Includes numerous illustrations and a fold-out section. Brown hardcover boards show some shelf wear and light scuffing along the edges, with minor cracking along the hinge of cover board. shelf reference #L-440
