Description: Here is a French yellow ware strainer that dates to the late 1800s. It has particularly dense perforations and a hand thrown handle. Remarkably good condition for a piece of well used kitchen equipment. There are two very tight hairlines but no cracks or chips. A collector’s piece of yellow ware. Measures 10 3/8" in diameter (plus a 3” long handle) and stands 3 1/8” tall. It is the left hand colander in the group photo of my collection. All pieces are for sale individually.
