19th CENTURY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD GOSAI IMARI PORCELAIN BOWL

Description: 19th CENTURY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD GOSAI IMARI PORCELAIN BOWL You are being offered an Antique Japanese Edo Period Gosai or Five Color Imari Porcelain Bowl decorated on both its Interior and Exterior with Floral and Brocade Patterns executed in Underglaze Cobalt Blue Pigment and Overglaze Red and Green Enamels with Aubergine and Yellow Enamel Accents. The Bowl isn’t signed and it doesn’t have an origin or maker’s mark; but we believe it was made in Arita during the Meiji Period between 1868 and 1899. The Bowl measures 8½ inches in diameter and its Rim is a little over 3½ inches high. There is a small Rim chip; otherwise, the Bowl is in Very Good Condition for its age without any other chips, cracks, scratches or losses. Please refer to the photographs on the left for further details. We hope you like it and remember, this Bowl is being offered with Free Shipping within the Continental United States. We ship all of our packages Fully Insured by U.S. Mail or Federal Express (FedEx) and we charge a Flat Rate for shipping because "Calculated Shipping" is not provided by eBay for FedEx. We use FedEx instead of one of the other private shipping services because we believe FedEx provides the safest and most reliable Ground Service available. We also feel that if handling charges are going to be applied, they should be applied on an individual basis instead of being added uniformly to all packages. Shipping charges are based solely on how much it costs us to ship your package to you, plus the cost of the packaging. All Domestic Packages are shipped By USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Select or Fedex Ground and when applicable, USPS First Class Mail or USPS Media Mail. Our choice of Shipping Service and the Method of Shipping we select, will be based on the Buyer's Preference and the Costs involved. Stated Terms and Shipping Charges Apply Only To Addresses Within The Continental United States. Shipments to addresses outside the Continental United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, will incur higher shipping charges that will vary according to the shipment's destination. International Shipments valued at $250.00 or more will be shipped by USPS Express Mail International because it is the only form of Mail that can be tracked after the Shipment passes through the destination country?s Customs. All other International Shipments valued less than $250.00 will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail International, except in certain instances when Inexpensive Items shipped in Small, Light-Weight Packages qualify for lower USPS First Class International shipping rates. In such cases, the Buyer will be notified by email and given the choice of how they want their package shipped. However, we will Not Ship packages by USPS First Class Mail International to certain countries because packages cannot be tracked after leaving the United States and too many packages have been lost. Winning Bidders will receive their Invoice within 24 Hours after you make your selection and payment is expected within 4 days.
