Description: A stunning antique French Sterling Silver & Gilt Bronze Chalice! The chalice cup is sterling silver and is marked with the French Minerva mark. The stem and base are gilt bronze and have a gorgeous religious motif featuring angels, Mary, Jesus, and a pope. The chalice measures approximately 9 1/4" tall and weighs 1 lb 5 oz. In used condition with some oxidation & wear to the bronze base. There is a small crack on one of the cutouts of the base, but it is not very noticeable. See pictures, including closeups.
