Description: A superlative grand tour photograph signed in the negative "A. Beato". Antonio Beato opened his Luxor studio in 1862. This large albumen image of Thebes was probably produced in the 1870s. 10" x 14 1/2" on original mount to: 12" x 17". Item #00027 Condition: Fine resolution & contrast.
