Description: Antique mid 1800s printed pattern page from The Englishwoman's Domestic Magazine with an embroidery illustration for "Oriental Slipper." Design shows the very popular paisley motif executed with decorative embroidery stitches and accented with beads. No instructions given, it looks like the paisley motifs may have been appliquéd fabric with ribbons couched in place with fly and other stitches. 7-1/2" high by 9" wide. Generally good condition, colors are still bright and clear. Some damage around the edges but there is enough margin that none of the pattern is affected. It has been folded for many years and will be shipped that way. Just one of many needlework items listed. I'm happy to combine purchases for a better shipping rate whenever possible.
