Description: Up for sale is a packaging error from 1998. The Racing Champions Mint Motor Trend Magazine packaging shows the car was supposed to be a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. The other cars on the pegs were red, so I guess the car was supposed to be a red Pontiac T/A. The actual car in the clamshell is a turquoise 1955 Chevy Bel Air. The clamshell is scuffed from 26 years of handling and storage. The car is mint. It’s not a Hot Wheels error, but still an interesting addition to the error collector’s catalog. Please look over the photos as they are part of the description. I combine shipping and will refund any overpayment. Thanks for looking!
