But Greg Maddux and Alex Rodriguez only signed 500 ea !!From Beckett's review of the set: At least two autographed cards from this 217-card set were inserted in every Extended Series pack. Super Packs with four autographed cards were seeded one in every 12 packs. Most players signed 5000 cards, but short prints (500-2500 of each) do exist. On average, one in every nine packs contains a short print. All short print cards are individually noted in our checklist. By mistake, Andruw Jones, Ryan Klesko, Andy Pettitte, Kirby Puckett and Frank Thomas signed a few hundred of each of their cards in blue ink instead of black. No difference in price has been noted. A very popular Sammy Sosa card, one of his only certified autographs, is the key card in the set. They also upped the number of short prints to 30 and decided to lower the production run of the Extended Series, which included 50 base cards and 217 autograph singles, to less than half of the original series.
