Description: This is a 1995 Westmoreland Museum of Art program featuring the trophy collection of Arnold Palmer. Arnie grew up and lived in Westmoreland County all of his life. His house was 15 minutes from the museum. Local leaders approached Doc Giffin and Arnold about displaying some of his golf trophies “Prizes” at the Museum from September 24 - October 29 of 1995. Palmer graciously accepted and the exhibit began. This 25 page program highlights some of the trophies and details all of Arnie’s golfing accomplishments. Rarely does one of these come available to the public. These were given to patrons to attended the exhibit which were very limited in number. We’re not talking the Metropolitan Museum of Art that attracts thousands daily. Here, the museum would have been fortunate to have a thousand people for the duration of the exhibit but that figure is likely much lower. Of those that received one of these, I’m certain many were discarded leaving a scant few in existence today. It is a must-have book for any golf collector. This program features exclusive content on Palmer’s professional victories and more. It's perfect for anyone who loves golf, especially those who are fans of Palmer. This program would be a great addition to any sports fan's collection and is sure to be a conversation starter. Get your hands on this limited edition program now. Fantastic near mint condition!
