The bat states, “ROBERTO CLEMENTE el orgullu de Pittsburgh… y de Puerto Rico” (“Roberto Clemente the pride of Pittsburgh and Puerto Rico”). The bat also includes the following accomplishments of Roberto Clemente: 4 National League Batting Titles; NL MVP 1966; Pittsburgh Pirates 1995-1972; BA .317; 3,000 Hits; All Star Team 12 Times; Inducted into National Baseball Hall Of Fame 1973. The bat comes with its original Cooperstown Bat Co. certificate and raised seal issued July 10, 1994 identifying this particular bat as Bat #174 of 1,000, and its corresponding original envelope from Cooperstown Bat Co.
