Armiger ferry This is an original press photo. Captain Henry Bussey, captain of the Col. Frank X. Armiger, 59, has worked on boats for 39 years, 17 years as a ferry captain, and said he hopes to never have to board another ferry and take over similar to the incident which happened Thursday morning. Bussey was headed toward the West Bank in the Col. Armiger and noticed that the other Algiers ferry, the Sen. Alvin Stumpf, was headed in the wrong direction. He ended up having to pull alongside and board the Stumpf, taking over as Captain after the Stumpf Capt. couldn't perform his duties. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 03-03-1994.
