Description: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development of the H1, J2 and F1 Saturn Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968-69, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine the RS-25. He later joined Aerojet as a Chief Scientist for advanced propulsion and worked directly with China/ France/ Europe/ Japan and Russia marketing the NK-33/RD57/RD-107 and several other Engine variations.
