Description: 1993 Giant Cadex, Carbon Fiber Mountain Bike, 18" Deore LX, Exage group, Amazing Original Survivor! Giant made both road and mountain bikes with carbon fiber tubes bonded to alloy lugs in the early 90's. All the main manufacturers did this. If the bike is taken care of the bonds have stood the test of time. I've sold at least 6 bikes built this way and they all were still solid and great riders. This bike has nearly all the original components. View the images to see. It appears the seat post and saddle were changed. The wheels are Araya RX-7. The bike has been cleaned and lubricated and rides great. Front and rear shifters and gears work great. Tires are good. This is a great quality bike and super value to for someone.
