Description: Rare 3" 1992 Bicentennial Bronze Medal Produced at the United States Mint in Philadelphia. Lettering: TR LMV Engravers: Lauren Vaughan, Thomas Rogers This featured a rendition of the John Dunsmore's painting "Inspecting the first coins" on the obverse and depictions of U.S. coins through the first two centuries on the reverse. Cool fact: You'll see the 1932 Washington Quarter has a mint mark on the obverse. Of course most know that the mint mark was on the reverse in 1932. This error was corrected on the silver medal. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on another one of these and due to their rarity, I wanted to share one with another collector that will appreciate the piece like I do. Look up the history on this- Especially those who are fans and knowledgeable of the Philadelphia mint. This is still in the issued sealed bag (reasoning for some of the blurriness of my photos). Also with the box from the mint (box is ok given its age). Send me a message if you have questions.
