Description: This fish was in a lot of signed artwork pieces from an estate that I purchased. Many of the pieces were created in the hub of folk art carvings from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have two fish, and the other one is by the same artist, but marked Santa Fe, so I know this one is from that locale. I do not recognize the signature, but this black crappie fish was created in 1991. It is carved from wood, and hand painted. Metal was used to create the fins and painted as well. The fish measures 10.5 inches long, 6.5 inches at the highest spot, and approximately 2 inches at the deepest part in the center. It is in excellent condition - no notable damaged.
