1990 Patricia Ray Guckes Dollhouse Miniature Oil Painting of Fox Hunt

NOTE- My camera has a very round lens which makes long straight lines seem to curve, especially on frames & furniture but it's just the camera, so just know the lines of this are straight.___________________________________________________ ITEM- 1990 Patricia Ray Guckes Dollhouse Miniature Oil Painting Fox Hunt DESCRIPTION- 1990 Patricia Ray Guckes miniature painting of a fox hunt with the horse & hounds in the act of crossing a fence in pursuit of the elusive fox while other hounds are catching up fast. After much research, sadly, I still can't figure out the date of the original or who painted it. It may be an original painting by Patricia & it is extremely well done. The horse and rider are remarkably well painted, as is the background but especially the brilliant blue sky & the trees, such a light delicate touch to create this completely realistic forest & sky behind them. His face is so well done- eyes, nose, & mustache, though near impossible to see without a loupe. This is in 1:12 scale, as every painting is I've listed unless otherwise noted in the description. It measures- 3 & 9/16" tall X 3 & 3/16" wide. CONDITION- Vintage, previously owned, no damage or issues. PAINTER- Patricia Ray Guckes of Lower Moreland Township, PA is 94 now & I believe she is still painting, as she was at 91. She had her first art show at 82 (see article). Many of her paintings are truly incredible. I called her once & tried to get her to send me a list of paintings she had available & asked her to do a commission of one I saw in an article about her.
