On February 14 1990, the Bulls we’re playing Magic in Orlando and Jordan’s jersey went missing. Searches conducted by equipment personnel and arena security turned up nothing prior to tipoff. Luckily the Bulls staff carried a backup jersey just in case something was to happen, like a ripped jersey or in this case a missing jersey. It is the only time Jordan wore 12. For 1,054 of his 1,070 regular-season games, Jordan - one of the greatest players in NBA history - made the No. 23 famous and for a brief stint made 23 famous.
