Description: Selling a former MLB player signed late 1980's or early 1990's baseball with 12 former MLB player signatures. No COA. Names include: Andy Seminick, Ivan Murrell, MLB executive Frank Wren, Cookie Rojas, Ron Leflore, Florida Marlins's first General manager, Dave Dombrowski, and five signatures I can't identify. The ball also includes MLB pitcher, Bryan Harvey's signature from whom this ball came. The history of this baseball is this: In 1993, Bryan Harvey, former MLB pitcher for the Florida Marlins, partnered with Jill Hendrickson, a genetics counselor (Gainesville, Florida) to raise money for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. Bryan Harvey's daughter has the genetic disorder and Bryan was the first major donor to this foundation, giving $20,000 in 1991 (see https://www.angelman.org/about/history/). So, in 1993, Bryan took official National League baseballs to his fellow Florida Marlins players and to other players on teams they were playing against, and had players sign baseballs. Then the baseballs were used to raise money for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. He also donated team balls including this one which may just be a ball he took and had former MLB players sign for the fundraiser. His signature is on the ball. A great many of the balls were sold at the fundraiser in 1993, but some were left over unsold. These balls sat at the home of the organizer, Jill Hendrickson, for 30 plus years. I met Jill at a yard sale fundraiser where she had decided to sell all these balls she had saved for a new fundraiser. I bought all 29 of her balls. . There is NO certificate of Authenticity (COA) with any of the balls I am selling but the history described above makes clear they are all authentic including this one for sale on this listing.
