1986 Topps Traded Factory Set Tape Intact (BBCE, FASC)

Description: You are bidding on a set similar to the one pictured, but not the exact one pictured. I have a full case of these that were authenticated by Steve Hart at BBCE. Each set is wrapped in BBCE plastic, is certified as being from a sealed case (FASC), and obviously still has the tape intact. The 1986 traded set was printed on higher quality card stock than the base Topps set from this year, and these cards typically present on the market with centering and possibly edge wear being the major detractors to grade. With these being FASC, you can rest assured that there will be zero handling wear and that possible centering issues are the primary obstacle to grade. There is a LOT of potential value in this set, so pick one up to try your luck! In MINT and GEM MT condition, the XRC cards in this set are a powerhouse of value. Before the modern era, Topps Traded was a highly anticipated companion set to the main Topps release. It gave Topps the opportunity to release upcoming stars or rookies that they missed in the main set. Initially launched in 1976 as a 44 card supplemental, the set appeared to be a 'one and done' until it was reprised in 1981. 1981 saw the set expanded to 132 cards, a level which it maintained until its dissolution in 1995.
