1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan #57 BECKETT 8 (PSA higher?)

Description: You're looking at "the Holy Grail" of Jordan cards, his 1986-87 Fleer rookie card!The card looks amazing in hand; really high eye appeal! It kind of boggles my mind how the centering only received an 8! It's a beautiful card as it sits and will look wonderful in any high quality collection.Or, if you're the more adventurous type, you can have some fun with an attempted "grade increase request." The card was originally graded way back on March 14, 2000! So it is waaaayy overdue to have the grade revisited. You can check the cert # for yourself (always a smart move!) but I am pointing out the date so it's clear I have NOT attempted a grade increase myself. I get that some nefarious dealers do such things and fail, and then still claim "this card could get a grade increase!," which is lame. The card was last graded almost a 1/4 century ago. If you request the grading company to only remove the card if it's approved for an increase, the worst case scenario, it remains an 8. But given that Beckett has a reputation as a tough grader, an increase isn't out of the realm of possibility, depending on the new grading company you choose. And either way, it would look even better in an updated holder. The old design doesn't pop like the new ones do, and the case shows some minor scratches from over the last 1/4 century. This card can only get better looking! And although there is no guarantee a grade increase will be successful, if it is, the upside is huge! My apology for the last than stellar photos, as I was struggling with the glare off the plastic slab. Shipping with the insurance required to protect your investment won't be cheap. I will pick up the tab, if you reside within the lower 48 states. Lastly, I have 100% positive feedback spread out over 25+ years, so purchase with confidence.
