This was an important time for Prince since he was on his "Purple Rain Tour". He had a movie in which he starred in called "Purple Rain" that won him an Academy Award. He created the soundtrack which received huge commercial success spending 6 consecutive months number 1 on the Billboard Top 200. This album would go on to sell 13 million copies making Prince the first artist to have a #1 Movie, #1 Single and a #1 Album all simultaneously. This moment was captured while performing at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on November 1984.
