Description: In 1982 The Triumph workers co-operative at Meriden went out of business. The rights to Triumph were sold to John Bloor. Whilst he developed his new line of bikes, he licensed the right to produce the Triumph T140 Bonneville to Les Harris. Les Harris already had a successful spares business L.F. Harris - Rushden Ltd. Not to be confused with Steve and Les (Lester) Harris of Harris Performance. Les (Leslie) Harris also produced the Matchless G50 with Rotax engines. These bikes were known as the 'Devon Bonnevilles', having been produced in rural Southwest England rather than the traditional industrial Midlands. Only a few hundred were produced in 1983. They were not imported into the United States. This is an original set of two brochures for these rare bikes. Not a reproduction. Condition is very good. You'll never find another set, at least not in America.
