Description: 1983-D FOUR (4) FULL STEP (FS) BU GEM JEFFERSON NICKEL WAY UNDER VALUED Read* Click images to enlarge Description Please read the 2024 update below Up for sale today is a RARE and extremely beautiful FOUR (6) FULL STEP (FS) 1983-D JEFFERSON NICKEL. This nickel has NEVER been in circulation or in the hands of another collector. I personally removed this nickel from it's United States Souvenir Set (since the Mint didn't make mint sets that year) but I left it in it's original packaging (cello) to take pictures of it. It is a solid 4 step and probably a 5 but the 5 fades out so I am only going to say it is a 4 to be safe. Either way this is an extremely beautiful nickel. They are rare and hard to find because as I mentioned above, the mint ONLY produced Souvenir Sets in 1982 and 1983, so to find nickels with steps for these years are extremely rare. 2024 UPDATE For the last couple years I have been daring buyers to compare my nickels with PCGS's and NGC's nickels. I would say "Pictures Don't Lie". Well take a look at the attached pictures below. I have heard recently from some of my clients that PCGS and NGC are actually using my nickels that I sold them (my clients), that they sent in to get graded, as their top examples. If you read the feedback left for me in the attached pictures you will read that PCGS just gave a 2017-D Jefferson nickel I sold a grade of MS68FS PL. That is the highest graded business strike coin they have graded. I have attached some other examples my clients have sent me of NGC graded coins and one ANACS. They were graded MS68FS, MS69FS, MS68 "Satin Finish" and MS69 respectively. These are the types of nickels they are receiving from me. PLEASE NOTE: My nickels almost always look better in real life than the pictures I have included. These new HD cameras show reflections, pick-up the flesh tones from my arm or the black on the camera and drive me crazy. That is why I am always taking so many different pictures from different lighting angles. This is a beautiful nickel that is really not shown in the pictures.
