Dating 1980s, I believe this was meant to copy an antique cheese mold - I purchased it originally to decorate our country Christmas tree - there is a trace label on the interior - I have another matching ornament with the label marked MIDWEST IMPORTERS. Condition is excellent with no damage - all the inconsistencies of a hand punched piece - complete with red ribbon hanger -- a charming addition to any vintage Christmas tree or display!
