Description: A set of one platter, four mugs and 13 plates in the Alpha 3 pattern for Kato Kogei's Fujimori Collection. As Art Director for Kato Kogei Ceramics, Fujimori oversaw the design and distribution of his signature line. These pieces are perfect 1980s postmodern with a heavy dose of Memphis Milano influence, including unusual geometric shapes and pops of vibrant color, which creates a fantastically consistent but differing set. In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Mugs have slight crazing and a few plates have paint loss spots. (See photos.) All pieces should be hand washed and not put in a dishwasher.
