Mono was the standard also in this period, making 2 speaker or stereo really very rare, 4 speaker or quad developed in the early 80s. radio cassette players were introduced in the early 70s when Philips invented the concept, like records cassettes are now growing in popularity. I am a purist so I will not physically alter an original radio and I restore with only original parts, This is my hobby with limited time and resources so please bare with me and understand any boxes or packaging I use will be recycled but packaged as I would expect to receive it if it were me.
