The catalogue details the sale of The Ryohei Ishikawa colection of postage stamps and postal history of Hong Kong and Treaty Ports. Ryohei Ishikawa was a chairman of a Japanese Bank and avid collector of postal ephemera, especially that relating to Hong Kong. The sale was held on the 4th December 1980 at Sotheby's, London, a noted auctioneer and dealer. CONDITION In a green cloth binding in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally in excellent condition with just some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dustwrapper is excellent with bumping and very minor closed tears to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. A few light marks to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean.
