Description: Selling a very beautiful 1980-1999 Trifari TM Gold-tone and Ivory Enamel Dangle Clip On Set of Earrings. They are 1 by 1.75" in size. They were cleaned with jewelry cleaner and inspected. Very minor loss of plating only found with the aid of the camera. Beautiful condition. From a website called GOLD PRESIDENTS I found that quality jewelry usually receives an electroplate coating of gold that is no less than 1-2 micron thickness. Also, says gold plating is usually kept to 1% of the objects weight. These did not test to be gold plated.
