Description: 1979 Gibson ES-Artist The serial number is "73179027" which dates it to 1979. The body is in very good condition overall. It has some wear but there are no major dings or scratches. Nothing out of the ordinary for a used guitar and no cracks, modifications or structural issues.The neck is straight and the frets show only light wear. It's in excellent playing condition and has no major issues. The fretboard, back of the neck and headstock have no major dings or worn areas. No cracks, repairs or extra holes. The nut is 1.68" wide, the neck measures 0.77" thick at the 1st fret and 0.98" thick at the 12th fret.The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. The pickguard has a gap near the pickup area so it might be a replacement. It comes in the original case which has some general wear on the outside. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors.Actual weight for the guitar is 9 lbs 1 oz.Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.I list some of my items on both eBay and Reverb.
