Description: This is a Model 3117 adjustable rolling desk chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. This particular example was manufactured in Denmark in 1979. The chair’s seat is made of 9 layers of pressure-molded wood veneer for strength, flexibility and durability. This piece retains the original Fritz Hansen label. This chair measures 20.5 inches in length, 22 inches in width, and 32 inches tall. It is in very good vintage condition, with some visible wear from use. The red / orange finish of the seat shows a few scratches but remains in good condition. The wood seat is solid & it swivels smoothly.
