Description: Handsome fold-out 1977 Standard Oil road map of Montana, printed more than 43 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 25½" and has good detail on old highway alignments, with attractive cartography by the National Survey of Chester, Vermont. On the reverse side there are inset plans of Billings, Butte, Great Falls, Helena, Missoula, and Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. The map was published in 1977 by the Standard Oil Division of the Amoco Oil Company and is dated by the code number in the legend: 1/77. It locates Standard Oil service stations along major highways, and includes a directory of restaurants, hotels, and points of interest. There's a full-panel ad for Coachmen recreational vehicles on the back cover, and the photo on the front shows the Many Glacier Hotel and Glacier National Park. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
