Fijian warriors in ancient tribal dress perform colorful "Meke I Wau" or club dance during a ceremonial typical of those which tourists to the South Pacific island nation are privileged to attend. Although the friendly Fijians welcome visitors with open arms and cries of "bula, bula," dances and other festival occasions are taken seriously and are rarely performed strictly as tourist attractions.
