The highlighted BLUE section (above) shows the wheel cover grade for this listing. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1977-1978 Eldorado (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD 15" steel rims). Color appears to be 1977 Mint Green (sample Eldorado pics are of a 1977 Eldorado painted this color). ITEM CONDITION: This auction is for ONE wheel cover in Grade "A/A-" condition, per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered "Near Excellent". Wheel covers in this range are VERY visually appealing and have only 1 or 2 very small flaws. The Perimeter Outer Rim is the only spot on this wheel cover that has any damage - -there is a slight flat spot (rubber mallet?) on the right side - otherwise the rest of the Perimeter Rim is Excellent -- lacking common curb rash/scuffs and nasty hammer dings. The Spokes are all there, straight and true - none bent or twisted. The Center Face (what you mostly see) is free of stone dents, crease, deep scratches, etc. This one is the rare 1977 color called "Mint Green" - and indeed it looks like a Fannie May mint green candy! The Green Decal (these were not paint green, but had a body-color matching decal placed on the wheel cover) is in superb condition for it's age. I'd suspect that this wheel cover came from a very low mileage car that wasn't out in the sun often (to fade the coloring). I also suspect low mileage since there are not any dents/stone dings in the Crown Side - which is very common. No rashing either on the Crows Side, and that's a huge bonus. The Crest has been color restored, so that it looks bold and beautiful, and goes well with the shiny original Chrome Wreath. Overall this wheel cover is likely the best replacement you could ever find (48 years old!) in this color and superior physical condition. PHOTO CONDITIONS: Various outdoor (late afternoon) locations in sunlight, tree shade and full shade locations. Caddypartz pictures are among the best on eBay! Taken very close up, from all angles, and in colorful high resolution. The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Keep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
