1976 Cadillac Bicentennial Eldorado Convertible Wheel Cover Hubcap *Excellent!*

Description: ~~ GET THE REAL DEAL RIGHT HERE! ORIGINAL 1970'S (AMERICAN MADE) FACTORY CADILLAC PARTS~~ WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent (A/A-), Excellent (A). Grade B levels= Driver grade -- good/presentable shape (B+, B++), average condition/fair condition (B). The "B" Grades will have more visible damage than "A" Grades. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1976 Eldorado "Bicentennial" Convertible (Special White edition for the last 200 Eldorado convertibles made). ITEM CONDITION: This auction is for ONE wheel cover in Grade "A" condition, per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered "EXCELLENT". Paint is not graded, just the metal portions and emblems. "EXCELLENT CONDITION" wheel covers have great visual appeal with barely any (IF any) imperfections (outside of very light wear & tear). Many high resolution close-up pictures are shown in ALL Caddypartz listings~! DETAILS: This hard to find "Bicentennial" style wheel cover just turned 48 years old and it's doing a good job of defying Father Time. Everything on the wheel cover is in Excellent Condition with any exceptions noted below. This includes the Perimeter Outer Rim (no hammer dents or curb rashing), the Spokes (none missing or bent), the Outer Center Crown (no rashing or stone dings), Crown Face (no dents, creases, etc) and the Retaining Tabs (on the backside). My guess is that this was repainted at some time, perhaps a while ago. The paint (not rated) is even and has a very nice shine. Paint has a few tiny stone nick/chips and some were apparently touched up at some point. Some paint alligatoring is present in the wreath/crest area. NOTE: The paint clear coat is reflective and dark objects behind me (when taking photos) make the wheel cover paint seem uneven...it's not. This wheel cover was disassembled, deep cleaned and gently hand polished. It now has an OEM fully color-restored Crest, which looks bold and beautiful (as it should!). It also also has a very shiny OEM chrome wreath. It's Superb~! The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Keep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
