Sola Basic Industries, which emerged from mergers and acquisitions, no longer has manufacturing operations in Milwaukee but its corporate headquarters have remained here, since the 1962 on the 19th floor of the Marine Plaza. In the 12 years since, company sales have grown nearly five times to more than $150 million. This year it was decided to consolidate, expand and renovate the corporate offices, where a staff of 33 now is employed. This is a view of one of the offices, which feature high pressure sodium lighting (the panels in the ceiling), a Sola Basic product.
