Mother. 1965 Lyuben Dimanov (Bulgaria) Lyuben Petrov Dimanov is a Bulgarian graphic artist, painter and illustrator. Born in 1933 in Bulgaria. In 1959 he graduated from the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Art of the National Academy of Arts. He worked in painting and monumental art, doing murals. Soon after graduating from the academy, he began to position himself as a graphic artist (etching, lithography and monotype), book illustrator and master of drawing. Considered a modernist and one of the iconic figures of Bulgarian printmaking in the 1960s and 1970s. His works are in the National Art Gallery, the Albertina Museum in Vienna, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the National Gallery in Tbilisi and Skopje.
