Description: Vintage Arthur Fulmer AF40 Dot Helmet Black Multicolor Metal Flake Size Medium 7 - 7 1/4. Dated October 1974. No visor. Good vintage condition, relatively clean (I did not try to clean it), no rips/tears in the lining. Some of the lining foam debris flakes off in small specks upon handling, however, due to age and deterioration. Helmet has a couple of scuffs on the back side. Chrome edging is in great condition also with a couple of light scuffs. The Arthur Fulmer helmet metal flakes are relatively common in red and blue, but rarely in black. It features unique multi-colored flakes, unlike similar models. This helmet also has applied patterned dots and stripes stickers that appear to have been applied after the initial purchase; some parts of the stickers have come off and one of the dots was applied over the Arthur Fulmer logo on the back of the helmet.
