Both ingenious, but nothing compared to what follows: We also took the carburetor and replaced it with an ingenious electronic fuel-injection system. The Volkswagen’s engine can’t boil over or freeze over since it's air-cooled and air doesn't boil or freeze. The Volkswagen's front brakes are disc brakes. Its front seats are bucket seats. Its stick shift is four-on-the-floor stick shift. Its tires are radial-ply tires. Now fuel-injected, air-cooled engines and front disc brakes and bucket seats and four-on-the-floor stick shifts and radial-ply tires aren't as easy to come by as an old trunk. So probably the most ingenious thing the owner of the car on the right can do is trade it in for the car on the left.
