Description: I have for sale a 1972 National Parks Centennial Medal. The medal is bronze, it is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition. The medal was made by the Medallic Art company. On the obverse it reads 1872 NATIONAL PARKS CENTENNIAL 1972 and in the center it shows an eagle on a branch. The reverse reads ACADIA NATIONAL PARK with the year 1919, and it shows a park scene.
