Description: I am the 3rd. owner of the vintage 1972 Gibson SG Special, this guitar is very light, the neck is straight- it has good intonation, nice "slinkey" action, (with 46-009 ) strings. the pick ups are original mini humbuckers- no P-90's- all controlls and wiring are original.it has a new tuneamatic bridge, and new tail piece, but I have the original "harmonica" Gibson bridge and tail piece. that are pitted- but still funcitional- turners are older self locking grovers. the action is low, it does not fret out anywhere on the neck, but a new fret job- could improve the guitars performance, but it does play well now, so this would be a matter of prefference. this guitar comes with the original Gibson case that is lined in purple, case is solid, although looks like it is from 1972.important, this guitar does not rubber neck, the neck in body joint is very stable, therefore, when playing this guitar it stays in tune nicely-I cannot deal with pay-pal, as I am located in Switzerland, and the last time I used pay-pal, I could not get the money out- I had to re-spend it in the pay pal-system. so, payments would need to be through bank to bank e-banking, I will ship the guitar World-Wide at buyers expense with insurance, and registered mail, meaning you would have to sign upon reciept of guitar.
